Things to Complain about...

Yes, I do have a few things that I need to complain about. It just shows you how messed up the world is.

In our neighborhood right next to UCLA, in the previous months there have slowly been 'Pot-shops' opening up. The brilliant district attorney for LA announced that they won't prosecute for Mary-J anymore, or under a certain amount, or some crap like that. How stupid is that?! So that was at the beginning of the year, or so. Then slowly these 'mysterious' shops start opening up with heavily tinted windows, bars, doorbells, security cameras, and of course large Cannabis leaves lit up in bright neon lights. These shops have been legal in CA for a while now, but for some odd reason they aren't controlled by the state, or the Gov. They don't want to assume liability I guess. But why not? Why not control it so those who need it can get it, but those who want it can't! So every few weeks another one seems to open up in our neighborhood. Another annoying thing is that most of them are now right next to a school (ucla).

NOW I have a new complaint about them. Sure those were bad enough, but now we have 'Doctor' offices opening up right NEXT to these Pot-Shops! Now that is super lame. Talk about taking advantage of a Loophole in the law. On the front windows of these drug dealing doctors offices, it advertises that they will write you a 'prescription' for weed simply if you come in! It also has a list of 'ailments' that you would need weed for. Ya,... in case you need a reason for it. They aren't even real doctors who prescribe it. I think all they need to do is take an hour long class, then they get weed certified. Its something ridiculous like that.

In a way this marry-a-juana is a gateway drug. But in another way its not. The pro-gateway rational is that this medium level mind-controlling drug leaves you wanting more; a longer high, a more severe high, etc. Thus the druggie seeks out more powerful mind-controlling drugs. Hence, the participant gets dumber and dumber. The non-gateway thinking, if you really think about it, the person is dumb to begin with. So they can't help themselves but to make themselves dumber. Its the only way that they can feel good about themselves. (Kind of like why I'm so insulting towards other people, partially cause they deserve it, and also it makes me feel good about myself, for being so normal.) And everyone wants to feel good about themselves. Every time they abuse drugs it kills brain cells (which aren't replenished by the body), they get dumber, the bar is lowered, they have less expectations for themselves, their sights are adjusted and set lower, and the process repeats. Pretty soon they have wasted all their money and they can barley afford a camping trailer in Northern Florida. That's why I'll never move to northern florida.

Its just plain stupid I tell you.
